ICES training course: Introduction to abundance estimation from fisheries acoustic surveys

The International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) is running a training course on the principles of fisheries acoustics in Copenhagen in June.
The course will cover survey design, data collection and data processing to estimate abundance and distribution for use in stock assessments and other studies, and will be taught by Dr. Paul Fernandes from the University of Aberdeen and Professor John Horne from the University of Washington.
Applications close on May 5th, 2017.
