Applications open for funded postdoc positions at JISAO

The Joint Institute for the Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean (JISAO) at the University of Washington (UW) is offering three funded postdoctoral research associate positions with research interests in atmospheric science, climate science, fisheries science and management, and/or oceanography. Fisheries acoustics applications are encouraged.

As a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) sponsored cooperative institute, JISAO promotes and facilitates collaborative research between UW and the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC), and the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL).

The positions start in September 2019 and applications are due by January 31, 2019.
