Following the Echoview training course in Seattle, Echoview Product Manager Toby Jarvis travelled to beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia to visit the good folks at ASL Environmental Sciences.

ASL's vibrant team of engineers and scientists manufactures a range of hydroacoustic and flowmeter instruments and provides scientific consulting services to complement their products.

Toby met with the ASL team to discuss data-format support in Echoview for their multi-frequency Acoustic Water Column Profiler (AWCP). The AWCP currently logs data to CSV format, which can be loaded into Echoview as described in the Help file. The ASL team are also developing a binary data format for efficient reading into Echoview.

For more information, please contact Jan Buermans at ASL or Echoview Support.
