Bathymetric module
The Bathymetric module allows you detect, create, edit and export the bottom-line and define other reference lines that may be required for echo integration. Create 3D digital terrain models of sea beds and 3D displays of map data.
When this module is licensed but other modules are not licensed, restricted and/or time limited Echoview features from other modules are available under demonstation mode.
Please contact sales@echoview.com for information about this module's pricing and prerequisites.

Specific features
- Editable lines
- Can be created by freehand drawing or by defining them relative to another line or at a fixed depth.
- May be edited by manually redrawing them or redefining their properties.
-
- Virtual lines (lines that maintain a dynamic link to another line).
- Can be created using many of the same algorithms as editable lines.
- Line operators are also available that can manipulate multiple lines (from different frequencies) - combine, span gaps, smooth or crop.
-
- Bottom lines can be picked using a number of configurable algorithms.
-
- Manual setting of quality flags (good, bad or unverified) for lines.
-
- Manual setting of "user defined status" flags (e.g. for bottom-type definition).
-
- Setting 'exclude data above' and 'exclude data below' lines to selectively omit data from analyses and exports, e.g. to exclude surface noise and bottom data.
-
- Export of quality controlled depth, position and status information for pings in text data format for input into GIS, mapping or other data analysis packages.
-
- Import lines from other programs for display on echograms.
-
- Create 3D digital terrain models of seabeds from lines.
-
- Import and display 3D seabed surfaces in a variety of formats.
- Use of the Merge GPS operator.
