Analysis export module
The Analysis export module allows you to perform basic quality control on data and conduct analyses on data then export the results for use elsewhere. This module is required for echo integration, target strength analysis, fish track analysis and fish school analysis.
When this module is licensed but other modules are not licensed, restricted and/or time limited Echoview features from other modules are available under demonstation mode.
Please contact sales@echoview.com for information about this module's pricing and prerequisites.
Run a Schools detection, then apply Classification rules.
Work with regions – user defined classes and species, Integration thresholds, Threshold graph (Region 63, 58, 59)
Example AutoOpen data.

Specific features
- Use of regions:
-
-
- Define and edit regions on echograms. Region types available - analysis, marker, fish track and bad data.
-
- Echo integration of regions (including regions defined with the schools detection module).
-
- User classification of analysis export regions by species or other classes.
-
- Analysis of Sv and single target data:
-
-
- Echo integration within layers referenced to the surface or the bottom.
-
- Echo integration in layers referenced to any user defined line
(e.g. a line defining the second-bottom reflection for use in
acoustic bottom typing applications).
-
- Maximum and minimum Sv thresholds for echo integration.
-
- Time varied threshold following TVG curve.
-
- Integration of background noise levels.
-
- TS distribution plotted on screen or exported for selections and regions.
-
- TS vs. depth plot on screen for selections and regions.
-
- Use of the Threshold Response graph, Frequency Response graph and Relative mean dB graph.

 |
- Use of single target detection operators:
-
-
- Works with high resolution data from Simrad, Kaijo, BioSonics, RDI, HTI and HAC formats.
-
- Echogram display of single target detections (single echoes).
-
- Visualization of single targets overlaid on Sv or TS echogram.
-
- Single target filtering by position in beam and minimum and maximum thresholds.
-
- 3D beam graphs showing single targets in X,Y,Z space.
-
- Conversion of single targets into 3D objects for animated 3D visualization.
-
- Single target filtering by position in beam and minimum and maximum thresholds.
-
- Detect single targets in post processing - no a priori decisions during data logging about settings.
-
- Experiment with the effect of different detection parameters without having to replay data through an echosounder.
-
- Use of TS to Sv and Sv to TS operators.
-
- The input operand for these operators is restricted to raw variables or virtual variables from operators licensed with the Analysis Export module or other modules.
-
- Use of ping subset operators.
-
- Use of resample operators.
-
- Use of the Target length calculator, Target length conversion, TS substitution and Target property threshold operators.
-
- Use of the Linear minus, Linear plus, Minus, Plus, Overlay, Copy and Background noise removal operators.
-
- Use of the Threshold operator and the XxY convolution operator.
-
- Export of multibeam data and underlying data (also requires 2D Sonar license).
-
- Export of georeferenced samples from multibeam acoustic variables (also requires 2D Sonar license), to facilitate analysis in a spatial context.
-
- Export of single beam data, underlying data and georeferenced samples.
-
- Export of georeferenced samples from single acoustic variables to facilitate analysis in a spatial context.
-
- Export of 3D objects from scenes to georeferenced image files.
-
- Export of analyses (including analyses from other modules).
-
- Export of region inspection data (also requires 3D Sonar license).
-
- Export of 3D single targets from scenes.
