There are three integration analyses that can be exported from an Sv echogram. They operate on single beam, split beam or dual beam data.
There is one integration analysis that can be exported from a scene. It operates on multibeam data.
Exporting integration analyses from SV echograms and scenes differs slightly in approach. You will need to prepare for such an export as follows:
Before exporting integration analyses from an SV echogram you must define what to export and how. Visit the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box and choose the settings you need. Echoview provides default settings but this may not suit your needs.
Before exporting integration analyses from a scene you must associate an SV variable with the scene and choose an algorithm. Visit the Analysis page of the Scene properties dialog box to define these settings. The default setting is None which will result in an export not containing any integration results.
See preparation above before exporting an integration from an SV echogram. You can export integrations from an SV echogram by:
This option exports the selected integration variables for each cell in the currently defined grid. You must choose one of the following export formats on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box before you begin the export:
Spreadsheet - outputs data to a single .csv file.
Database - outputs the same data to four .csv files designed for importing into a database.
To export an integration by cells:
Bring the SV echogram with the predefined grid into focus.
On the Echogram menu, point to Export, point to Analysis by Cells, then click Integration.
Enter a name and location for the export file(s).
Click OK.

This option exports the selected integration variables for analysis regions on an echogram. Data are exported to a single .csv file that contains one line per region. it is available for single beam, split beam and dual beam data only. See Exporting integrations from scenes for integrating multibeam data by regions.
To export an integration by regions from an echogram:
Bring the SV echogram with pre-defined analysis regions into focus.
On the Echogram menu, point to Export, point to Analysis by Regions, then click Integration.
If the Export Integrated Regions - Select Classes dialog box displays, choose the region class(es) to include in the export, then click Export.
Enter a name and location for the export file.
Click OK.

Only analysis regions will be exported.
All settings in the Variable Properties dialog box except the display settings are applied to integration calculations.
Only the spreadsheet format is available for Integration by regions.

This option exports the selected integration variables for the region-cell intersections in the current EV file. The exported data includes the cell (identified by layer and interval) in which each analysis region is located. You must choose one of the following export formats on the Export page of the EV file Properties dialog box before you begin the export:
Spreadsheet - outputs data to a single .csv file.
Database - outputs the same data to four separate .csv files designed for importing into a database.
To export an Integration by Regions by Cells:
Bring the SV echogram with predefined regions and grid into focus.
On the Echogram menu, point to Export, point to Analysis by Regions by Cells, then click Integration.
If the Export Integrated Regions By Cells - Select Classes dialog box displays, choose the region class(es) to include in the export, then click Export.
Enter a name and location for the export file(s).
Click OK.

Only analysis regions will be exported - see About region type .
The integration takes no account of overlapping regions. That is, the mean SV will be calculated for each region independently. If they overlap, some samples will be used in each of the overlapping integrations.
The analysis variables PRC_NASC and PRC_ABC will be calculated for each region-cell intersection in addition to other variables. If regions do not overlap then these variables will give the ABC and NASC for the cell due to the samples in the region-cell intersection. These variables are additive and if a cell is subdivided exactly into a number of regions then the sum of the PRC_NASC (or PRC_ABC) will be equal to the cell NASC (or cell ABC). Alternatively the NASC (or ABC) for those parts of the cell not in regions can be determined by subtracting the sum of PRC_NASC (or PRC_ABC) over all regions-cell intersections in the cell from the NASC (or ABC) for the entire cell. These variables can thus be used to apportion backscattered energy between species or species assemblages using Region classes.
When integrating regions-by-cells, the NASC, ABC, Height_mean and Thickness_mean are not output even if selected on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box as they are not correct for region-cell intersections where bad data or bottom regions exist in the cell and are disjointed. Usually, PRC_NASC or PRC_ABC rather than NASC (or ABC) is utilized for these regions (and compared to NASC (or ABC) for the entire cell) so this is unlikely to be a problem.
All settings in the Variable Properties dialog box except the display settings are applied to integration calculations.
It is possible to include output for cells that contain no regions in your export. See Output Empty Cells for details.

You can export 3D region integration variables for one or more 3D region(s) that are displayed in the scene you are currently viewing. The data are written to a .csv file.
To export an integration analysis for 3D region(s) that are displayed in the scene you are currently viewing:
On the Scene menu, point to Export, and then click Analysis by Regions.
Select a folder and enter a name for the export file.
Click Save.

You can display the integration results for a 3D region without first exporting them using the 3D Region integration results dialog box.
