Direction_vertical is an analysis export variable available in exported fish track analyses.
It reports the vertical direction of a vector drawn between the first and last target in a fish track region (degrees). See About beam geometry for a definition of the vertical direction.
This variable is exported only if it is selected on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box.
