What is Echoview?
Echoview is an advanced hydroacoustic data-processing application for fisheries scientists and environmental managers who need to monitor and understand aquatic environments. It provides the ability to quickly and easily visualise, process and characterise the data from a wide range of echosounder and sonar systems with an extensive range of user-definable algorithms. Echoview is unsurpassed in its scope, power and flexibility and has been widely adopted as the global industry standard for fisheries acoustics and related studies.

Echoview comprises a base system and a number of optional modules suitable for different applications. Since its launch in 1995, Echoview has focused on the processing of water-column hydroacoustic data, specialising in, but by no means limited to, scientific-fisheries and environmental-management applications.
Echoview is developed and supported by the staff at Myriax Software in Hobart, Australia. Myriax Software is a wholly owned subsidiary of Myriax Pty Ltd, headquartered "down under, down under" in Tasmania. We also have offices in San Diego, California, and Shimonoseki, Japan.
