Features of Live viewing module

The Live viewing module, when used with a suitable Echolog application, allows real-time viewing, scrutinizing and quality control of data in Echoview as it is logged from:

• Simrad Ex60 echosounders using Echolog 60
• Simrad Ex500 echosounders using Echolog 500
• Simrad SM2000 FR multibeam echosounders using Echolog SM

Many Echoview features are available during Live viewing. The following features will respond to newly arrived data when live viewing (based on other licensed modules):

• Echograms
• Rectangular selections
• Schools detection
• Linked graphs
• Virtual variables
• Lines
• 3D curtain creation
• Cruise tracks
• Scenes.

Live viewing templates can be used to pre-set the majority of EV (Echoview) file settings, so that useful EV files can be created under Live viewing with a minimum of intervention.
