Features of Echolog modules

All Echolog modules are now available for download free of charge.¹ There are three separate Echolog modules:

• Echolog 500 - for logging and live viewing data telegrams from Simrad EK500² and EK60³ echosounders.
• Echolog 60 - for compressing and live viewing datafiles being logged by Simrad EK60³ echosounders

Key features:

Each Echolog module has slightly different features, but in general they allow you to:

• Log data telegrams from an echosounder (Echolog 500) or write datafiles in a compressed file format while they are being logged by the echosounder software (Echolog 60).
• Broadcast information about the data that is being logged over an Ethernet to allow live viewing - in Echoview - on any computer that is attached to the network.
• Broadcast data that enables live viewing of sounder detected bottom depth by EchoDepth (Echolog 500 and Echolog 60 only).
